No Account Required
You never need to create an account, enter an email, or provide any personal information to use the wheel.
Local-First Storage
Your names, colors, weights, and settings are stored in your browser's Local Storage. Entry images, custom uploads, and shared wheels are stored on our secure servers.
Transparent Server Use
Entry images are uploaded to our servers and auto-deleted after 30 days. Custom wheel, center, and background images are stored securely. Shared wheels are stored permanently until manually removed.
No Data Sales
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Period.
Information We Collect
The core wheel application does not require any personal information to use. However, certain features and pages may collect limited information as described below:
ℹ️ Automatically Collected Data
Like most websites, our server logs may record basic connection data when you visit, including:
IP address (for security and rate limiting), browser type and version, device type (desktop, mobile, tablet), operating system, referring URL, and timestamps of page visits.
This data is used solely for website security, abuse prevention, and aggregated analytics. It is never linked to individual users or sold to third parties.
📧 Contact Form Data
If you choose to contact us through our Contact Page, you will be asked to provide the following information:
Your name, email address, topic selection, and message content.
This information is sent directly to our support email inbox and is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not store contact form submissions in any database, do not add your email to any mailing list, and do not use your email for marketing purposes. Your email is only used for the purpose of replying to your message.
⚠️ Image Uploads
When you upload an image for a wheel entry using the image upload button, that image is sent to our secure server via our image processing service and stored in a protected storage location. The image is resized to a maximum of 300×300 pixels and assigned a randomized filename for privacy.
Entry images are automatically deleted after 30 days. Additionally, you can upload custom images for the wheel face, center circle, and page background via the Advanced Options panel — these are processed through our secure upload service and stored on our servers.
Images that are part of a wheel shared to the Community Gallery are retained for as long as the shared wheel remains publicly available. If you wish to have any images or shared wheels removed sooner, please contact us at support@wheeltochoose.com.

⚠️ Important Note About Shared Wheels
If you use the Share feature to upload a wheel to the Community Gallery, the wheel title, entry names, tags, and any entry images are transmitted to and stored on our servers permanently (until manually removed). This data becomes publicly accessible to other users.
Do not include private personal information (full names, phone numbers, addresses) in wheels you share publicly.

Click the Reset button to delete all local data instantly. Entry images are auto-deleted from our servers after 30 days. For shared wheels or immediate image removal, contact us.
Right to Portability
Use the Save feature to export your complete wheel configuration as a portable .wheel file at any time.
WheelToChoose does not sell personal information. If you have shared a wheel to our Community Gallery, uploaded images you want removed, or wish to exercise any data rights, please contact us using the information below.
Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. Our tool does not require any personal information to use.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through our sharing, contact form, or image upload features, please contact us immediately so we can remove it from our servers.
